Hanken Cono Assad & Co, Inc. implements DataTrust Enterprise to ease enterprise work flow.
Hanken, Cono Assad & Co. (HCA) implemented the DataTrust Enterprise application in 1988. At the time, they were in need of an enterprise application to ease their administrative and accounting workflow in their main office in San Diego, California.

DataTrust Enterprise provides employees of HCA, from their offices and off-site rental properties, real-time access to corporate and real estate information in a centralized database. This allows office personnel to gain instant access to real time information entered by resident managers at their rental properties. The decision to utilize the DataTrust Enterprise application also allows remote-site rental properties to enter payments and other transactions directly to the server via the Internet, and lets HCA staff focus on managing its portfolio with instantly updated information on the operating performance of each of their thirty plus owned and managed properties in the San Diego area.

"We looked at a lot of software products prior to selecting DataTrust Enterprise", said Al Assad, one of the principals of HCA. "The recent upgrade dramatically expanded our ability to distribute our administrative workload to our property locations", added Al. This has allowed HCA to decentralize administrative costs while maintaining centralized control of technology.

Holloway Association Management implemented the DataTrust Enterprise ASP application in early 2005. At the time, they were a startup company that managed just a few hundred units. Since then, Holloway Association Management now manages in excess of 2,500 units in and around the Charlotte, North Carolina area.

DataTrust Enterprise ASP provides employees of Holloway real-time access to a centralized database, from their offices and on the road, using a web browser. The decision to use the Advantos ASP (application hosting) allows the company to focus on managing its portfolio while relying on Advantos' IT professionals and hosting facilities to provide secure application and data management services.

“We looked at a lot of software products prior to selecting DataTrust by Advantos", said John Holloway, principal. The company determined that Advantos' product was the most fully developed and integrated system available. "Once we selected them, we started using their Hometastic web sites for all of our associations. In fact, we incorporated it into our management services for every new association we managed." This allowed the Holloway team to expand at an extremely rapid rate. "We did a lot of proposals, and came out on top in over 80% of them", said John. "They just love our presentations. When we show them how to look up payment histories over the Internet, and how board members can look at financial statements, bank accounts, and delinquent aging reports in real time over the Internet, they are simply amazed. It was absolutely the primary reason we acquired many of these accounts."
